Hypothesis
●If the case was made in 1855 were there any special events in that year? Yes, State Agricultural Society Award Events

●Is this related?
See: p. 237. Nolan. #580 Rose unaccom floral and leaves (A. C Morin). I see similarities in the floral details leadimg me to  》》》》

●Medals for Awards
"A. C. Morin is credited as engraver for the Pennsylvania State Agricultural Society medal, Julian AM-65, first struck in 1855. At the bottom of the obverse is A. C. MORIN FECIT. PHILAD. Julian attributes this to Anthony C. Morin. Johnson attributes this to Alexander C. Morin.
The answer can be found in Miscellaneous Documents Read in The Legislature of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, During the Session Which Commenced at Harrisburg, on the Second Day of January, 1855. The report runs for 800 pages. Readers who wish the shorter story may skip to page 791 and document 99 Report of the State Agricultural Society. On page 793 is this entry:
Alexander Morin die expenses.
This indicates the cost paid to the United States Mint and confirms Alexander C. Morin as the diesinker.
Two dies have the A. C. M . initials. The Great and Good medal (Baker 357) has a Washington bust with A. C. M. on the truncation. The Crystal Palace medal (Baker 361) has a Washington bust with A. C. M. on the truncation. Baker credits both to Anthony C. Morin and states that Morin died in 1873. Johnson agrees with attribution to Anthony. Neil Musante (Musante 191) attributes it to Alexander."

I could not find a visual of the 1855 medal but here is the 1870 Agricultural medal.

The popularity of the greenhouse, used in architectural design, became widespread after Paxton's 1851 Crystal Palace in London.
Bartram's Garden, located south of  the mint on the Schuylkill River in Philadelphia, supplied  Washington and Jefferson with Agricultural products in the early days of US horticulture history.
